The company of Renona s.r.o. was founded in 2011 with the aim to provide top quality specialised care in treatment of cerebral palsy, movement apparatus disorders. The name of the company is a combination of two words – “Re” stands for rehabilitation, what we offer in top quality, and “Nona” is the name of a Roman goddess who spun the thread of life.

When you need an optimal rehabilitation, you look for the right rehabilitation centre. But how can you find the right one? The answer is simple. Ask those who have already used its services. Look at the results! Has the medical condition of the patient improve? Is he or she making progress? Did he or she feel good in the rehabilitation centre? Allow me to introduce to you our community of Semmering. The weather data from Semmering dates back to the 19th century. By building the Semmering sanatorium in 1912, Dr. Franz Hansy, its operator, utilized the extraordinary, highly fluctuant climate of Semmering in many medical treatments. Semmering‘s special climate, which is still today subject to stringent control, was validated recently in 2008 during an inspection. Thanks to its varying and extraordinary nature, and with an extensive network of tourist trails, Semmering has always been a destination for those who seek relief and calm.

Important warnings

We would like to ask the parents of patients who have undergone or are about to undergo rehabilitation treatment at the rehabilitation centres of Renona Rehabilitation to avoid intensive rehabilitation treatments in other centres one month before treatment and three months after treatment.

Failure to comply with these conditions will interfere with the success of our Renona “Kids” and Renona “Suit” concepts, as the patient may become physically exhausted (if they do not follow the guidelines for monthly rest in intensive rehabilitation before entering our rehab). After completing the rehabilitation stay, it is necessary to abide by our rehabilitation programme at home for at least 3 months. In case of undergoing any other rehabilitation stay within this time, the effects of our treatment may be reflected in this separate process. Each of the “Suit” concepts uses a different treatment methodology, so we ask that you adhere to this deadline to allow each centre the opportunity to present their rehabilitation results.

In the past 5 years, centres with intensive rehabilitation treatments have been copying our treatment programme and system. Incorrectly applied treatment with intensive “Suit” therapy can manifest in your child over a 2 to 3-year period that is not immediately discernible during the treatment stay (passive verticalisation regardless of the locomotive stage, where it subsequently results in deformations and various other complications, exercise with orthoses under pressure, and the like). The Renona Rehabilitation company innovates its programmes on a quarterly basis and takes into account the latest research and rehabilitation results, into which we invest a lot of finances.

If we cannot improve the condition of your child’s health, the child will not be accepted for the stay.
